About Me

Currently looking to expand my understanding of diseases, and gain the skills to
find novel solutions to them. Eventually, I wish to make my mark in the research
sector entirely, utilizing the skills I’ve obtained.

Experience

1. Masters Research: “Potential causative agents of biofilm-induced Cholera:

an in vitro approach” (Feb 2023 - June 2024)

- Led a team of 4 undergraduate students in two separate groups

and oversaw their thesis work.

- Conducted selective biofilm growth and spectrophotometer density

analysis using both environmental samples

and lab-stored samples.

- Established a concrete correlation between seasonal Vibrio

cholerae prevalence

bacteriophage and extracellular DNA (eDNA)

presence in the environment.

2. Undergraduate Research: “Target specificity of different phytochemicals in

preventing the binding of OxLDL To LOX-1: An in silico approach” (March

2022 - August 2022)

Conducted phytochemical analysis

and selective screening of a large

amount of naturally derived compounds.

Explored the potential of selected compounds in LOX-1 Inhibition through

molecular docking

binding energy comparison

and molecular dynamic

simulation against the commonly utilized statin compounds.
